The SLUG

Do you ever see slime when you take a hike? If you have you are seeing a slug's trail. If you followed that "trail" of slime you would definitely come across the slug who made the slime. Slugs are a slimy mollusk. They usually live in damp areas like under rocks or in grass. They feed on soft leafy vegetation, mostly, although they must NOT eat or go near salt!

Q:     "IS A SLUG A SNAIL????"

A: a slug is not a snail but a slug resembles a snail. The two are different because first of all, a snail has a shell. DUUUUUH? Also, slugs live in gardens, unlike snails. A lot of people think slugs are snails who lost shells, but now you know that is absurd. So the next time you see a trail of slime, follow it to see what you can  find.
